Entry Welding: SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and GTAW
A 372-hour, 19-week weekday welding pathway covering Stick, Flux-Core, MIG, TIG, safety, blueprint reading, tools, machines, and performance practice in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions.

About the program
Wor-Wic Community College's grant-funded entry welding program prepares new welders for employment through 372 hours of hands-on training. Learners practice Shielded Metal Arc, Flux-Core Arc, Gas Metal Arc, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding under the AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code while building safety, blueprint-reading, tool, machine, and positional welding skills.
Up to 12 welding qualifications based on successful performance
