Upskill the Workforce

This policy explains what information Upskill the Workforce collects and how we use it when you browse training, funding information and guides or use an account.

Information we collect

Account details you provide: name, email, and password (hashed).
Program and scheduling activity you create while using the service.
Technical data such as IP address and device/browser information.

How we use it

To operate your account and provide the service.
To send transactional email (see our Email & Communications page).
To secure the platform and prevent abuse.
To send optional marketing only if you have explicitly opted in.

Nearby searches and maps

Location access is optional and requested only when you select "Use my location." We round the coordinates and use them in your browser to calculate approximate straight-line distances. They are not sent to our server, stored in your account, or saved in browser storage. Clear the nearby search or leave the page to discard them. You can search by city or ZIP code without sharing your location.

Selecting Map loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. That service receives your IP address and the geographic area displayed, which can include your approximate location when nearby search is active. See the OpenStreetMap privacy policy. Address links open Google Maps; its own privacy terms apply when you follow those links.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate (such as hosting and email delivery), under appropriate safeguards.

Optional analytics

When analytics is enabled on this site, we ask permission before loading Google Analytics or setting analytics cookies. Declining does not change search results or prevent you from using the directory. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps analytics disabled.

If you agree, we measure public page visits, broad search topics, explicitly requested training regions, interface language, result counts, and clicks on programs, providers, guides and official funding steps. Google also processes technical information needed to provide its analytics service. Outbound clicks indicate interest, not an enrollment or award. We do not send your search wording, device coordinates, account details or application information to Google Analytics. We remove search parameters from analytics page URLs. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization for this integration.

Your analytics choice is saved in this browser for up to 90 days. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days without renewal. Use "Analytics preferences" at the bottom of public pages to change your choice. Withdrawing permission removes this site's analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the analytics script; it does not retroactively delete reports already collected by Google. Browser storage restrictions may prevent saving a choice, in which case analytics stays off.

We use aggregate reports to improve matching, training coverage and educational content. See Google's privacy policy for information about Google's processing. Contact us below for privacy questions or deletion requests.

Your choices

You can access or update your account information, opt out of marketing email, and request deletion of your account by contacting hello@upskilltheworkforce.com.
