About the program
Locksmithing 101 is the first course in PGCC's four-course locksmithing sequence. Learners practice entry-level techniques using hand, power, and specialized tools while studying rekeying, common locksets, key-cutting machines, impressions, introductory lockpicking concepts, and lock functions and finishes.
