About the program
This course begins PGCC's NCCER Level 1 HVAC curriculum. Learners examine how HVAC systems work and the technician's role, then build foundational knowledge in HVAC math, electricity, heating and cooling, air distribution, piping systems, installation, and maintenance.
First part of the NCCER HVAC Level 1 curriculum; the credential requires the applicable full curriculum
