About the program
Chesapeake College's Maintenance Awareness course builds a basic understanding of manufacturing tools and equipment and how preventive and predictive maintenance improve productivity. Topics include welding, electrical measurement and power, pneumatics, hydraulics, lubrication, bearings and couplings, belt and chain drives, machine controls, and automation. It is the second course in Chesapeake's four-course MSSC CPT sequence.
