About the program
ASU-Newport's Packaging Machine Operator microcredential uses the MSSC Certified Production Technician framework to prepare learners for entry-level food-manufacturing roles. Online instruction and hands-on lab work cover packaging operations, safety, HACCP principles, inspection and documentation, production processes, and basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
